It’s nice to be able to talk about the Brewers having a magic number. Granted, there’s still a lot of baseball left to be played, but I’m convinced the Brewers are for real. What’s even more amazing about this team is that as young as they are, they should be a contender for years to come, barring injuries and losses to free agency.
Surely magic numbers have a special exemption from the rules of jinxing. If, on the other hand, I’d said something like “Ben Sheets is finally going to pitch a complete season”…
